Edward Niu Is Ready To Take Over The World

As a finance major, junior Edward Niu has gained a multitude of experiences in all aspects of business and is making the most of his study abroad trip in America. He came to California State University, Fullerton in 2015 from China and has been hard at work since then. He has dedicated himself to maximizing his time in America through various internships, jobs, and on-campus leadership roles. 

Throughout his time in America, Edward has interned in various aspects of business that have shaped his decision to pursue a career in investment banking. His first internship was with Enterprise Holdings as a Management Trainee. This internship gave him valuable experience in management, sales, operations, finance, and accounting. His second internship was with Best Cheer Stone, Inc. as a sales management intern where he polished his customer service and management skills. Edward also strengthened his customer service skills when he worked as the California State University, Fullerton University Honors Program Student Assistant. He got to know all of the university’s honors students and develop meaningful relationships with everyone. 

Between his crazy work and school schedule, Edward also squeezes in time to serve as the Executive Vice President of Beta Alpha Psi, providing college students their first steps into the accounting world. During his time with Beta Alpha Psi, Edward has recruited with Ernst and Young, Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, RSM, BDO, Moss Adams, and Grant Thornton and received offers from all of them. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Abrego Future Scholars Student Association after being one of the founding fathers of the organization. 

Edward’s hands-on take on life has shaped him into a stellar scholar, human, and prepared to ready to take over the world. After college, he has received an offer from JPMorgan and Chase to pursue his dream career as an Investment Banker.
