Saleem is a freshman at CSUF and his academic goal is to get an accounting degree. He plans on working hard these years in school by networking and building experience. His dream job is to be a CFO of a Fortune 500 company. As a freshman Saleem has been working hard to start up a TEDx program at CSUF. His vision for the program is to make it one of the biggest programs on the west coast. He has big ambitions and a great work ethic.
As a freshman Saleem has already had many leadership positions. Not only is he the founder of TEDxCSUF, but he is a part of Relay For Life at Fullerton, he says “This organization has allowed me to communicate with the community in a way that, at times, can bring me to tears. This organization works in coalition with another program called Relay for Life. Together we aim to raise money for cancer research and treatment through fundraising. The event also acts as a means of respect and encouragement for cancer fighters, survivors, and those who have lost the battle to cancer. With my mother being an ovarian cancer survivor, these events always mean a lot to me.” Saleem not only spends his time working on his education, but also spending time with meaningful projects that help better all people.
Saleem also shared his experience in BH so far, he believes this program has allowed him to meet people with the same kind of ambition and feels like he is encouraged to work hard and everyone around him is willing to help. He is very grateful for all the opportunities he’s had here and knows that sky's the limit to how far he can go in life.
