Business Honors' Social Events help students form friendships, build relationships, understand different perspectives, and engage other cultures. These events provide an opportunity to expand one's social circle and create a thriving community.
VALENTINE'S DAY SOCIAL
Leading up to the Valentine's Day Social the Business Honors Students were able to make Valentine's Day Cards for all of the friends. The Internal Engagement Committee was able to set up a station with fun supplies for everyone to use, they also made sure that every student in Business Honors had a special Valentine's Card. The social was filled with fun little games, yummy food, and of course CANDY!!
During our fun Halloween Social many BH students from all cohorts where able to gather together and play many different games, sit, chat, dance, eat yummy snacks, and the best part they where able to compete in the costume contest where great prizes where given. Aside from all that fun one student was also able to bring their Video Game Console which then created a mini competition between seven to eight people at a time.
During the beach night social the Business Honors students spent the day at Huntington State Beach, where returning BH students are able to bond and get to know the new class of BH students. Dancing, laughing, eating, story telling, and s'mores is just some of the fun had by students.
Bingo Night - March Social
Our Internal Engagement team hosted a social for the cohorts, during this social they played talking point Bingo. This game consisted of members filling in/crossing out boxes on their bingo card, to do so they would have to talk about whatever is in that box. Most of the contents in the box were either about BH or quarantine, for example, "Met someone new in BH" or "binged a TV series". I.E. used this game to allow members to get to know each other better and share fun stories about themselves.
BH Connect Series
During our (3rd) connect event of the semester, we celebrated March birthdays, shared how we have been doing during the semester, and got to listen to a special guest speaker from CAPS, who talked about the importance of mental health and resources available at CSUF.
